Brief about the activity:

Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies organised a plantation drive on World Food Day on 16^th October 2021. The drive aimed at developing a greater understanding of the ecosystem among the students. The objective was to aware students of the importance of plants and trees for humans. The drive received an overwhelming response from NSS volunteers, students, faculty, and staff of the college. The drive successfully concluded with the participants taking a pledge to take care of plants and trees in their surroundings.

 

लखनऊ पब्लिक कॉलेज ऑफ प्रोफेशनल स्टडीज ने 16 अक्टूबर 2021 को विश्व खाद्य दिवस पर वृक्षारोपण अभियान का आयोजन किया। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य छात्रों के बीच पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र की अधिक समझ विकसित करना है। इसका उद्देश्य छात्रों को मनुष्यों के लिए पौधों और पेड़ों के महत्व के बारे में जागरूक करना था। इस अभियान को एनएसएस स्वयंसेवकों, छात्रों, संकाय और कॉलेज के कर्मचारियों से जबरदस्त प्रतिक्रिया मिली। प्रतिभागियों द्वारा अपने आसपास के पौधों और पेड़ों की देखभाल करने की शपथ लेने के साथ यह अभियान सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ।
