Session on Women Empowerment

Brief about the activity:

NSS coordinator of LPCPS in collaboration with the Chhanv Foundation, organised a session on 'Women Empowerment'. Speakers, Ms. Sarita Nirjhra and Mr. Ajeet talked about how despite one's failures and disabilities, one can pursue their dreams with their will.

Students got an opportunity to interact with acid attack victims and differently abled speakers who shared their struggles on not being accepted by society and how Sheroes where people irrespective of their social and economic status come together to help those in need through their rehabilitation programmes and help them become their best selves.

एलपीसीपीएस के एनएसएस समन्वयक ने छांव फाउंडेशन के सहयोग से 'महिला सशक्तिकरण' पर एक सत्र का आयोजन किया। वक्ता, सुश्री सरिता निर्झरा और श्री अजीत ने इस बारे में बात की कि कैसे किसी की असफलताओं और विकलांगताओं के बावजूद, कोई अपनी इच्छाशक्ति से अपने सपनों को पूरा कर सकता है।

इस प्रक्रिया में छात्रों को एसिड अटैक पीड़ितों और शारीरिक रूप से असक्षम वक्ताओं के साथ बातचीत करने का अवसर मिला। सभी वक्ताओं ने अपने संघर्षों को साझा किया और शीरोज कैफे तथा निजी पुनर्वास कार्यक्रमों के संबंध में बताया।
