Artificial Intelligence Club of LPCPS in association with Eduquis Technology conducted a 3 Day Workshop on 'Future of AI and Robotics in India'. The host of the event Dr. Richa Mishra , Assistant Professor, LPCPS gave a brief about the theme as well as the flow of the event & the interactive session was led by Mr. Shwetank Seth, CTO of Eduquis Technology.During this session, the students learned about the creation of artificial neural network in 1943 which paved the way to Artificial Intelligence. The event was introduced & hosted by Dr. Richa Mishra, Assistant Professor , Dept of Commerce , LPCPS who gave a brief about the event as well as the guest speakers followed by the inaugral ceremeony.Through this workshop students learnt about the advancements made in the field of AI and India's place in the race of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics followed by the brief online test for the participants with a great deal of participation & enthusiasm & the guest speakers were felicitated by the Dean Prof. (Dr.) L.S.Awasthi

A thorough workshop on the important place of science communication in the field of media studies was successfully held by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication. The event happened over the course of three days, on 23-25 February 2023. The educative lecture given by Mr. Richeek Mishra, a seasoned expert holding the prestigious position of Assistant Editor at Aaj Tak Digital, was one of the workshop's standout moments. Mr. Mishra is known as an accomplished journalist due to his knowledge in science, space, geoscience, biology, and military sciences.

The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Photoshop for image editing and manipulation. The Photoshop workshop provided participants with a comprehensive introduction to the essential tools, techniques, and features of Adobe Photoshop. The Artificial Intelligence Club of LPCPS conducted a 3-day workshop on 'Android Development with Flutter', focusing on the latest technological advancements and Android development. Android app development has gained significant momentum in recent years, and developers are constantly seeking efficient frameworks to build high-quality applications. Flutter, a cross-platform development framework developed by Google, has emerged as a popular choice for Android development. This report provides a comprehensive overview of Android development with Flutter, exploring its features, benefits, and key considerations.The event was hosted by Dr. Richa Mishra, Assistant Professor, Dept.of Commerce, LPCPS who introduced the event followed by the iaugral speech by Dr. L.S. Awasthi, Dean Academics, LPCPS which was then followed by the welcome of speakers

ONE WEEK ADMINISTRATIVE TRAINING PROGRAMME ON COMPUTER LITERACY
“Computer Literacy”

Venue: Computer lab: 02, Room 101, LPCPS
The training was conducted from May 2, 2023, to May 11, 2023, and was aimed at improving the computer literacy skills of the administrative staff. The training covered various topics such as basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, internet browsing, email etiquette, Administrative Assistance Skill and cybersecurity.
The training program was well-structured and organized, with a good balance between theoretical sessions and practical exercises. The first two days of the training focused on basic computer skills such as using the mouse, keyboard, and navigating the desktop. The trainers were patient and took time to explain the concepts in a way that was easy to understand. The third and fourth days were dedicated to the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The trainers demonstrated various functions and features of the software and then allowed the participants to practice on their own. Participants were encouraged to ask questions, and the trainers were available to provide individual assistance when needed. The final day of the training covered internet browsing, email etiquette, and cybersecurity.

With the intention of creating a safe place for everyone in this cyber world, LPCPS successfully organised a 7-day short term session on Cybersecurity. This informative session was headed by Mr. Prakhyat Pandey and Mr. Rishi Prakash, who spoke about the basic terms used in Cybersecurity & Hacking and how a hacker can hack ones data. This session taught students how to protect themselves against cyber threats.

Introduction: A "holistic approach" in Education aims to nurture students' physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being alongside academic learning. It focuses on creating an environment that promotes students' overall development, and not just their cognitive abilities. This approach emphasizes developing skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and communication, which are essential for success in the 21st-century workplace.
The national seminar titled "Holistic Approach: Need of Modern Education System" organized by Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in conjunction with Research Committee of LPCPS discussed the importance of this approach in modern-day education. This seminar aimed to highlight the shortcomings of the traditional education system that solely focuses on academic learning and rote memorization, and the need for a more well-rounded approach.
