ABOUT STUDENT COUNCIL
Student council at a college is attuned to help students get most out of their experience while they are enrolled at the college for their academic pursuits. Student council offer limitless opportunities for student leadership and participation beyond classroom setup and academic programme. Student council at LPCPS consists of LTF (LPCPS Task Force) and College Clubs.
These Clubs and LTF positions provide a great platform to usher-in the distinctive perspectives and life experiences that all students bring to the college. Student Council indeed helps in students’ transformation and holistic development in a big way. So it is that various positions under student council especially aimed at helping students to get involved and find their own niche on their college campus.
Student clubs at college level promote the shaping of skills of the students and make them truly life-ready. These student club activities play a crucial role in determining and channelizing the passion and interest of students, much beyond their academic pursuit. The extracurricular activities that are routinely organized by these clubs teach the students practical lessons of life, making them not only job-ready but also making them ready to face the bumpy path of survival in this world of cut-throat competition.
LTF AND COLLEGE CLUB AT LPCPS
Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies is one of the premier private undergraduate college, Lucknow is known for its cutting-edge teaching pedagogy with project-based learning approach, contemporary management practices, and collaborative programs in the field of commerce, management, computer science, science and journalism which are aimed at providing wholesome experience to the students in and outside the classroom to hone and groom their technical and personal skills. The college is consistently delivering the quality education and shaping the generation over a long period time. The college is enriching and empowering its students by offering and inviting them active participation in various clubs which enables 360 degree appraisal, versatility and personality of students.
The college has various LTF and student clubs various LTF viz. Academic, Discipline and Management and clubs viz. Happening Souls, Artificial Intelligence club, Anchors Club, Arts & Craft Club, Dance Club, Dramatic Club, Music Club, Sports Club, E-Cell, Communicators, Which caters to technical, cultural, social, recreational, health and welfare needs and interests of the students. These clubs at LPCPS are joined and run by the students from across the programmes, where they drive various techno, management, and cultural activities throughout the year.
SELECTION OF LTF AND STUDENT CLUB
For being of and join LTF and student club member, students has to cross and crack the selection procedure which provide a great experience of selection procedure as students encounter in future.
In selection procedure, students have to present their candidature before the selection committee. Selection committee consists of college administration and management scrutinize and applications with the help of class teachers. Screening of application is based on past performance of students in class and college activities. Shortlisted candidates called for the interview by the panelist. On the basis of their performance in the interview, candidates are scored. After review of panel, final approval of competent authority approved the selected candidates and informed and offered candidate for final posting.

Roles and responsibilities of LTF Head and members are as follows:
LTF MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE
Management committee is a group of people who are chosen or select to make decisions about how a club or various events which are organized in the college is run, and to make sure that particular events and activities are to be done. The guidelines for how the volunteer should be trained.
Established in the year 2016-17
LTF management committee is responsible for the following
- Managing institutional events and activities
- Co-ordination and proper communication with other committee and club members
- Ensuring smooth functioning of the institutional events
- Delegation of authority and power to team members for smooth functioning of the various events
- Consistent monitoring, active participation and proper reporting to competent authority during the events
DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE
The Discipline Committee is the soul of all serenity you would experience in the campus. The committee comprises of Discipline Head and under him/her, the discipline committee members. The Discipline Committee along with the Management Committee and the Academic Committee forms the LPCPS Task Force (LTF).

DISCIPLINE COMMITTEE is responsible for
• Maintaining decorum and serendipity in the campus.
• Ensuring that the students are in proper college uniform.
• Maintaining discipline in all the events.
• Ensuring the smooth and unchaotic functioning of all the events.
ACADEMIC COMMITTEE
Establishment in the year 2019-20
The Academic Committee is a vital link between the student body and the faculty. The significant function of this committee is to act as a medium of communication between the students and the faculty.
The agenda of this committee is to keep the students aware of their academic standing and reduce blind-spots.
This committee formulates long term and short-term development programmes for the college to achieve academic excellence in tune with the policies of the University.

Academic committee is responsible for
- Imbibing best practices so that future student’s communities can have better systems in place.
- Conducting practices like academic events and functions to hone the academic skills of students and honour those who perform well in these events exhibiting their extraordinary academic excellence.
- Academic members take care of the scholastic overview of the students and college, track the progress of the education and syllabus of respective subjects and courses.
- Organizing academic events like essay writing competition, poetry recitation, story writing competition, poetry writing contest, Slogan Writing Contest, poster making contest, Pictionary, quiz competition, etc in the college to celebrate the commemorative days.
- Planning and executing the overall academic growth of the college by making recommendations to the Governing Body, wherever necessary.
