Artificial Intelligence Club of LPCPS in association with Eduquis Technology conducted a 3 Day Workshop on 'Future of AI and Robotics in India'. The host of the event Dr. Richa Mishra , Assistant Professor, LPCPS gave a brief about the theme as well as the flow of the event & the interactive session was led by Mr. Shwetank Seth, CTO of Eduquis Technology.During this session, the students learned about the creation of artificial neural network in 1943 which paved the way to Artificial Intelligence. The event was introduced & hosted by Dr. Richa Mishra, Assistant Professor , Dept of Commerce , LPCPS who gave a brief about the event as well as the guest speakers followed by the inaugral ceremeony.Through this workshop students learnt about the advancements made in the field of AI and India's place in the race of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics followed by the brief online test for the participants with a great deal of participation & enthusiasm  & the guest speakers were felicitated by the Dean Prof. (Dr.) L.S.Awasthi

 The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Photoshop for image editing and manipulation. The Photoshop workshop provided participants with a comprehensive introduction to the essential tools, techniques, and features of Adobe Photoshop. By the end of the workshop, participants had acquired the necessary skills to perform basic image editing tasks and were prepared to explore more advanced Photoshop functionalities. The Artificial Intelligence Club of LPCPS conducted a 3-day workshop on 'Android Development with Flutter', focusing on the latest technological advancements and Android development. Android app development has gained significant momentum in recent years, and developers are constantly seeking efficient frameworks to build high-quality applications. Flutter, a cross-platform development framework developed by Google, has emerged as a popular choice for Android development. This report provides a comprehensive overview of Android development with Flutter, exploring its features, benefits, and key considerations.The event was hosted by Dr. Richa Mishra, Assistant Professor, Dept.of Commerce, LPCPS who introduced the event followed by the iaugral speech by Dr. L.S. Awasthi, Dean Academics, LPCPS which was then followed by the welcome of speakers

During the session, students were introduced to various concepts, including object-oriented programming, Flutter widgets, calling APIs using Flutter, and utilizing the SQFLite database for local data storage on devices, to significantly enhance their knowledge in technical aspects.

Mr. R.K Gupta told that Cybercrime can cause direct harm or indirect harm to whoever the victim is. However, the largest threat of cybercrime is on the financial security of an individual as well as the government. Cybercrime causes loss of billions of USD every year.He told us some of the examples of cybercrime like- Hacking , Unwarranted mass-surveillance, Child pornography, Child grooming, Copyright infringement, Money laundering, Cyber-extortion. He told us Cyber security is a potential activity by which information and other communication systems are protected from and/or defended against the unauthorized use or modification or exploitation or even theft. Likewise, cyber security is a well-designed technique to protect computers, networks, different programs, personal data, etc., from unauthorized access.

The training was conducted from May 2, 2023, to May 11, 2023, and was aimed at improving the computer literacy skills of the administrative staff. The training covered various topics such as basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, internet browsing, email etiquette, Administrative Assistance Skill and cybersecurity. 

The training program was well-structured and organized, with a good balance between theoretical sessions and practical exercises. The first two days of the training focused on basic computer skills such as using the mouse, keyboard, and navigating the desktop. The trainers were patient and took time to explain the concepts in a way that was easy to understand. The third and fourth days were dedicated to the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The trainers demonstrated various functions and features of the software and then allowed the participants to practice on their own. Participants were encouraged to ask questions, and the trainers were available to provide individual assistance when needed. The final day of the training covered internet browsing, email etiquette, and cybersecurity.

For instance, an investor interested in the technology sector might analyze the growth potential of emerging markets like India or China, considering factors such as smartphone penetration rates or government initiatives promoting digitalization. He told that Diversification Benefits: Investing globally provides diversification benefits by reducing exposure to country-specific risks. By spreading investments across different regions and asset classes, investors can mitigate the impact of localized economic downturns or geopolitical events. He was telling that Collaboration and Teamwork When students are learning entrepreneurship, it will often involve them working on projects, tasks and ideas that require them to collaborate while working in teams. As students work on developing a business idea, they need to work together with others to generate and refine ideas, conduct research, develop a business strategy and bring it to life. When this process is happening, students learn how to communicate effectively, manage tasks among the team, and also handle interpersonal dynamics. With the intention of creating a safe place for everyone in this cyber world, LPCPS successfully organised a 7-day short term session on Cybersecurity. This informative session was headed by Mr. Prakhyat Pandey and Mr. Rishi Prakash, who spoke about the basic terms used in Cybersecurity & Hacking and how a hacker can hack ones data. This session taught students how to protect themselves against cyber threats.

This programme aims to equip faculty with the knowledge and skills to conduct research effectively so as to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and foster a community dedicated to excellence and innovation.The event was hosted by Dr. Richa Mishra, Assistant Professor, Dept.of Commerce, LPCPS who introduced the event followed by the inaugral speech by Dr. L.S. Enlightening and captivating sessions on Data analyzing using origin and Online data security left everyone eager for more knowledge. These thought-provoking discussions fostered a deep appreciation for the significance of data-driven decision-making.
