On 31st October, the Training and Placement Cell of LPCPS organised a seminar on 'Entrepreneurship Development and Orientation: Trends and Challenges' featuring Dr Kavita Pathak, Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management, as the Guest Speaker, who shared her knowledge on the trends and challenges one needs to overcome for the growth of their venture.

Stress is your body's response to changes in your life, and anyhow we all experience this. But to develop resilience and coping skills to address stress physically and psychologically by people, a seminar was organized by LPCPS on March 23, 2022 in association with Accman Business School, Indraprastha University, Delhi. Prof. Ankita started with a set of 3 or 4 activities which involved a group of 10 students per activity to engage with the students and interact with them.

YOGA DAY ( 2/04/2022)
"Paths are many, Truth is ONE!" Yoga is a mind-body system that has been practiced for thousands of years. One word sums up the numerous advantages that this discipline can provide: freedom. Yoga teaches us to be free of psychological and physical limitations, as well as a negative self-image. Yoga is a discipline that helps in aligning your body, mind, and soul. LPCPS organized a Yoga session today on the day of- 'Yoga Day' together, let's remind each other to dedicate more time everyday, to the most holistic approach of wellness of our mind and body.

A 15 lecture series was designed and curated by the Training and Placement cell of LPCPS. The students were explained about entrepreneurship, business, how to grow as an individual, how to be creative and innovative besides cognitive learning and emotional intelligence. The lecture was of 1 hour 15 mins which included introduction about the lecture, and was concluded with a Q and A session.

AWARENESS PROGRAM ON HYGIENE AND WASTE MANAGEMENT

Lucknow Municipal Corporation visited LPCPS on 25th April, 2022 at 11:00 am in the conference hall to create an awareness program on Hygiene and Waste Management on the event of “Swachh Survekshan 2022”, the world's largest cleaning survey. The team consisted of 3 members of LMC, Mr Amit Kumar (Ward Manager-Chinhat-II), Mr. Yogesh Yadav, Mr. Dinesh Singh, Mr. Aman Singh (Control Room Operator). Mr. Amit told us that many fleet of garbage trucks have been deployed in various key centres of the city.

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON GLOBAL POVERTY: CONCEPT MEASUREMENT AND IMPACT ON HUMANITIES
DATE: 08-09 February, 2022
The experts shared their views on the meaning and types of poverty, the facts of the poverty that exist around the world. The methods to measure the poverty was also discussed. Various committees have been formed in past many years to submit their report on poverty. Poverty exist because of some cause and every government around the world is trying to find those causes and erdicate poevrty. Governments have made strategies for the same. The experimental approach of Nobel Prize Winner Abhijit Banerjee, Esther Duflo and Michael Kramer was also discussed to understand their views.
Best Paper award was given to Dr.Shailesh Srivastava for which a certificate and a reward prize of Rs. 1500 was given to him as a token of appreciation.

FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM USING SPSS
'A little progress each day adds up to big results.' Day 5 Faculty Development Programme cojoining with Jaipuria Institute of Management began with a discussion on 'Descriptive Analysis SPSS' headed by Dr. Ankit Mehrotra from Jaipuria Institute of Management who gave an overview on distribution of data, detect outliers and typos and how to identify associations among variables, thus, making the given data ready to conduct further statistical analysis. '
