Brief about the activity:

'She' Synonym for everything. A hurricane, empath, bold and innovative.

 

To address the social, economic, and political injustice faced on the basis of ones gender, NSS Unit of LPCPS, in collaboration with ICC Committee organized a session on 'Women's Rights in Society, headed by Asst. Prof. Aanchal Praveen.

Through this session girls learned about their lesser known rights which includes:

• Right against harassment and not to be arrested at night.
• Right to domestic violence and free legal aid.
• Right to equal pay, anonymity and morality.
• Right to motherhood benefits and against female feticide.

 

लिंग के आधार पर होने वाले सामाजिक, आर्थिक और राजनीतिक अन्याय को संबोधित करने के लिए, एलपीसीपीएस की एनएसएस इकाई ने आईसीसी समिति के सहयोग से सहायक की अध्यक्षता में 'समाज में महिलाओं के अधिकार' पर एक सत्र का आयोजन किया। असिटेंट प्रोफेसर श्रीमती आंचल प्रवीण ने सत्र में मौजूद सभी लड़कियों को इस विषय से अवगत कराया और इसे एक धारणा के रूप में वर्णित किया।

इस सत्र के प्रमुख बिंदु:

• समान वेतन, गुमनामी और नैतिकता का अधिकार ।
• उत्पीड़न, घरेलू हिंसा, मुफ्त कानूनी सहायता ।
• रात में गिरफ्तार न होने का अधिकार |
• मातृत्व लाभ का अधिकार और कन्या भ्रूण के विरुद्ध के अधिकार ।
