Brief about the activity:

Nukkad Natak is a flagship event of Drama Club where you grasp the audience around you. Nukkad Natak has been a famous part of Indian Tradition. The idea of street play is to propagate social and political messages in a unique sarcastic way and create awareness amongst the masses. It is highly energetic and enthusiastic which attracts the maximum crowd in a short time.

 

LPCPS, NSS Volunteers performed an amazing street play at LPCPS Auditorium on EK NAYI SHURUAAT. The objective of organizing this Nukkad Natak was to spread awareness among the students about the relevance of different environmental issues, like potable water, clean water bodies ,no plastic usage, afforestation etc. The Natak also aimed at encouraging the students to contribute their bit in the eradication of the menace of pollution from our environment.

 

About 291 students witnessed the Nukkad Natak with great enthusiasm.

 

The Guest of Honour Ms. Tulika Banarjee, actress and RJ, appreciated the initiative taken by the organisers and volunteers. She also stated that such media of spreading message through Nukkad Nataks is very impressive and has long lasting impact.
