Holi Celebration in RSSI NGO

Brief about the activity:

On 4 March 2023, Lucknow public college of professional studies, NSS wing along with BAJMC department celebrated Holi with the children of RSSI NGO, situated in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The purpose of this event was to spread joy and happiness amongst underprivileged children. The event began with a brief introduction about the significance of Holi and how it is celebrated in different parts of India. The children were excited to hear about the history of Holi and its cultural significance.

 

After introduction  Holi celebration started by applying colours on each other. The children were ecstatic and started playing with colours, making the atmosphere lively and colourful. The volunteers also joined in and enjoyed the moment with the children.

 

After playing with colours, we distributed sweets and snacks amongst them. As a fun activity, a drawing competition was organised.
