On 12th February 2024, the Kalakriti Club of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies (LPCPS), in collaboration with the NSS Unit, organized clay modeling sculpture event during a cultural event named Xenium International 6.0 – The Annual Fest. The event saw a vibrant participation of six teams, five teams comprising two members and one team comprising solo participation. The teams represented esteemed institutions, including the University of Lucknow, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Modern Girls, and three teams from LPCPS. The event was judged by three distinguished individuals:
- Mr. Rajesh, Head of Art and Craft at LPS Vrindavan,
- Ms. Rakhi, the Founder of Niradi Organics and an accomplished artist, and
- Ms. Rashmi, a talented artist.
The participants were tasked with creating intricate sculptures out of clay, showcasing their creativity and artistic skills.
After a keenly contested event, the team from Jaipuria Institute of Management emerged as the winners, scoring an impressive 70 out of 90. Their work stood out for its precision and creativity. The event was a great success, fostering creativity, teamwork, and artistic expression among the participants while promoting a sense of healthy competition across various educational institutions. The judges praised all teams for their effort and innovation in clay modeling.
