On 11th February 2024, Kalakriti Club of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies (LPCPS), in collaboration with the NSS Unit of LPCPS, organized an exciting event titled "Dress Designing with Newspaper" during a cultural event named Xenium International 6.0 – The Annual Fest.  The event aimed to encourage creativity and innovative thinking among students, as they were tasked with designing dresses entirely out of newspapers.

The event saw enthusiastic participation, with a total of five teams competing. Each team consisted of two students, representing various educational institutions including National PG College, Modern Girls College, Jaipuria Institute of Management, and two teams from LPCPS. The competition was judged by Mr. Mohan and Ms. Rakhi, who assessed the participants based on creativity, design, presentation, and overall use of newspaper material.

The teams worked diligently to create innovative and visually appealing dress designs, showcasing their skills and imagination. After a keen evaluation, the winner of the event was declared to be the team from National PG College. Their design impressed the judges with its originality and execution, earning them the top position.

The event was a great success, fostering teamwork, innovation, and resourcefulness among the participants, while also providing a platform for students to showcase their talents in dress design.
