On 13th March 2024, a voter awareness campaign was conducted by 23 students of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies in the college vicinity. The event, organized under the supervision of the NSS (National Service Scheme) unit, aimed to educate the local community about the importance of voting and the electoral process. The students engaged with residents, explaining voter registration, the significance of exercising the right to vote, and how voting contributes to the democratic process.

The awareness drive involved distributing informative pamphlets and posters highlighting key details about voter eligibility, the voting process, and how to ensure one's name is included in the voter list. Students also addressed common misconceptions about voting and encouraged first-time voters to participate actively in elections.

The initiative was well-received by the local population, with many showing interest in registering as voters. The students successfully created a positive impact by empowering individuals with the knowledge to make informed decisions during elections. The event exemplified the role of youth in strengthening democracy and emphasized the importance of being an active and responsible citizen. The NSS unit's involvement ensured the event’s success, fostering a spirit of social responsibility among the students and the community alike.
