On the occasion of Founder’s Day, the NSS unit of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies organized a plantation drive in the surrounding areas of the college. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and to promote the benefits of planting trees. A total of 23 enthusiastic students actively participated in the drive.

The plantation activity was carried out in a well-coordinated manner, with each participant given a sapling to plant. The students planted various trees in open spaces, enhancing the greenery of the area. The event not only contributed to improving the local environment but also highlighted the need for sustainable practices to combat environmental degradation.

The drive was an enriching experience for the participants, who were able to connect with nature while contributing to the well-being of their community. The NSS team ensured the proper handling of the saplings and provided guidance on how to care for them to ensure their growth.
