Plantation drive organized by the NSS unit of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies, a group of 10 students visited Fareedpur Village to contribute to environmental conservation. The event was aimed at increasing awareness about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance and improving the local environment.
The participants actively engaged in planting saplings across various parts of the village. The drive was carefully planned, with students ensuring that the saplings were planted in suitable locations to enhance green cover and prevent soil erosion. The team also focused on selecting native plant species that are better suited to the local climate and can grow successfully in the region.
The village Pradhan and the villagers actively supported the students, and the event was marked by a sense of collective responsibility toward environmental preservation. The NSS unit also emphasized the importance of continued care for the saplings and encouraged local residents to adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
