Nukkad Natak on “Violence Can Be in Any Form”

The NSS Unit of LPCPS, in collaboration with the Drama Club, organized an impactful Nukkad Natak (street play) on February 12, 2024. The theme of the performance, "Violence Can Be in Any Form," highlighted the various facets of violence prevalent in society and aimed to raise awareness among the audience.

The natak was performed by 11 talented students of the Drama Club, who used their powerful acting skills to convey the message effectively. Through gripping dialogues, expressive gestures, and emotive scenes, the performers depicted how violence manifests in different forms, such as domestic abuse, emotional harassment, bullying, and societal discrimination. The play emphasized the importance of recognizing these issues and taking collective steps to address them.

The interactive nature of the Nukkad Natak drew an enthusiastic response from the audience, which included students, faculty, and local community members. The dramatic portrayal of real-life situations left a lasting impression, encouraging viewers to reflect on their roles in preventing violence.

This initiative by the NSS Unit and Drama Club underscored the power of art in addressing social issues and reaffirmed LPCPS's commitment to fostering awareness and empathy within the community.
