NATIONAL YOUTH DAY 2025

Speech Competition Organized at Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies

On the occasion of National Youth Day 2025, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies organized a Speech Competition to honor his visionary teachings. The event, organized by the NSS Programme Officer, saw enthusiastic participation from students and was a grand success, showcasing their eloquence and intellectual prowess.

The event was attended by esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Ashish Kaushal (NSS Programme Coordinator & Associate Professor, Department of Management), Dr. Harimohan Saxena (Associate Professor, Department of Management), and Mr. Mohit Kumar Maurya (Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce). A total of 20 students were present, with 14 actively participating in the competition. The esteemed judges, Dr. Harimohan Saxena and Mr. Mohit, evaluated the students based on their perspectives on Swami Vivekananda's teachings, creativity, and oratory skills.

The winners of the competition were:

• First Prize: Geetanjali Singh (B. Com Hons- 1^st Year)
• Second Prize: Shruti Gupta (BAJMC- 1^st Year)
• Third Prize: Janvee Pandey (BAJMC- 1^st Year)
• Consolation Prize: Shriti Thakur (B. Com- 1^st Year)

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Ashish Kaushal, who encouraged the students to embrace Swami Vivekananda's teachings and strive for excellence in their endeavors. The celebration was a testament to the youth's potential in shaping a brighter future.
