Session on Women’s Empowerment

On November 20, 2024, Biju BP, a retired banking professional and the founder of Biju BP Travel, conducted an engaging session on "Women's Empowerment" at Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies. The session was attended by 57 enthusiastic students from diverse disciplines, including B. Com Hons, BBA, and B. Com.

Biju BP, an alumnus of IIM Kozhikode and a seasoned expert in management, used his wide-ranging experience to address the key aspects of women's empowerment. Drawing from his own life journey, from a long and successful career in banking to a new chapter as a passionate traveler and entrepreneur, Biju BP shared valuable insights on breaking barriers and redefining success. The session covered essential themes like gender equality, women's participation in leadership roles, and the importance of supporting and uplifting women in all spheres of life.

The students actively participated in the discussion, appreciating Biju BP's perspective and the real-life examples he shared. His message resonated deeply with the young audience, motivating them to strive for equality, self-empowerment, and to challenge traditional gender norms. The session was an enriching experience, leaving the attendees with a strong sense of purpose and determination to contribute positively to society.

The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks given by Prof. (Dr.) Laxmi  Shankar Awasthi, Dean Academics, LPCPS, who expressed gratitude for the insightful and impactful session, appreciating the knowledge shared and the inspiration provided to the students.
