The NSS unit of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies, in collaboration with the anchors club "Speech Waviers", organized a speech competition on September 9, 2024, to mark World Literacy Day. The event aimed to emphasize the importance of literacy in fostering social and economic development.
A total of 15 students participated in the competition, delivering powerful speeches on various aspects of literacy, its impact on society, and the challenges in achieving global literacy. The event was attended by 38 students, who actively engaged with the discussions and gained valuable insights.

- Samriddhi Yadav (BAJMC 1st Year) – 1st Position
- Prakanit (B.Com Hons 1st Year) – 2nd Position
- Kashish Srivastava (BCA 3rd Year) – 3rd Position
