On the inspiration of the Hon’ble Governor and following the instructions issued by the University of Lucknow, the NSS Unit of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies organized an awareness campaign on 7th March 2025 to address critical social issues, with a special focus on drug abuse.

As part of the campaign, a Pledge for a Drug-Free India was taken simultaneously across the college and all affiliated institutions. Students from all classes, along with faculty members and NSS volunteers, actively participated in the event. The pledge was taken with sincerity and enthusiasm, reflecting the collective determination to fight against the growing menace of drug addiction.

During the campaign, faculty members addressed the gathering and highlighted the severe impact of drugs on health, families, and society. They urged students to become ambassadors of change and spread awareness among their peers and communities.

The primary aim of the event was to encourage the youth to make responsible choices and contribute to building a healthier, safer, and drug-free nation. The campaign concluded with a strong commitment from all participants to stand united against substance abuse.

The NSS Unit continues its dedication toward social awareness and positive youth engagement through such impactful initiatives.
