On the occasion of Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day), the NSS Unit of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies (LPCPS) organized a Preamble Reading Activity to instill constitutional values and democratic spirit among the students. The activity was conducted on 26th November in the college premises with active participation from students and faculty members.

At the beginning of the programme, the NSS Programme Coordinators briefly highlighted the significance of Samvidhan Diwas and the historic adoption of the Constitution of India. Students were informed about the importance of the Preamble as the guiding spirit of the Constitution, reflecting the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

All students were then asked to read the Preamble aloud in unison, creating an atmosphere of respect and reverence towards the Constitution. The collective reading reinforced the commitment of students to uphold constitutional values, fundamental duties, and responsible citizenship.

Faculty members encouraged the students to not only recite the Preamble but also understand its meaning and apply its principles in their daily lives.

The activity successfully sensitized the students about their role in nation-building and strengthened their awareness of India’s constitutional ethos, making the celebration of Samvidhan Diwas meaningful and impactful.
