“DISCUSSION WITH PRADHAN & TREE PLANTATION DRIVE”

On 23 October 2024, under the Village Adoption Program (VAP), a team from Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies visited Fareedpur village and held a meeting with the village Pradhan to discuss key village issues under the framework of the Letter of Understanding (LOU). The interaction focused on collaborative efforts for environmental protection and community development.

Following the discussion, a Tree Plantation Drive was organized on the same day. The activity witnessed the presence of the Pradhan, two faculty members, twelve student volunteers, and village residents. Saplings were planted at identified locations with active participation from villagers, including women and children. The drive highlighted collective responsibility towards environmental conservation and strengthening green cover through joint efforts.

 

विलेज एडॉप्शन प्रोग्राम (VAP) के अंतर्गत 23 अक्टूबर 2024 को लखनऊ पब्लिक कॉलेज ऑफ प्रोफेशनल स्टडीज की टीम ने ग्राम फरीदपुर का दौरा किया। इस अवसर पर लेटर ऑफ अंडरस्टैंडिंग (LOU) के अंतर्गत ग्राम प्रधान से भेंट कर गाँव से जुड़े प्रमुख मुद्दों पर चर्चा की गई, जिसमें पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं सामुदायिक विकास पर विशेष ध्यान दिया गया। चर्चा के पश्चात उसी दिन वृक्षारोपण अभियान का आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में ग्राम प्रधान, दो शिक्षक सदस्य, बारह छात्र स्वयंसेवक एवं ग्रामीणजन उपस्थित रहे। चयनित स्थानों पर पौधारोपण किया गया, जिसमें महिलाओं एवं बच्चों सहित ग्रामीणों की सक्रिय सहभागिता रही। यह अभियान पर्यावरण संरक्षण की दिशा में सामूहिक प्रयास एवं सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व की भावना को सुदृढ़ करता है।
