BRIEF ABOUT THE ACTIVITY
On 07 March 2025, under the Village Adoption Program (VAP), students of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies conducted an awareness program on dowry prevention and avoidance of drug abuse at Fareedpur and Dallookhera villages. The activity aimed to sensitize villagers about the harmful social, economic, and health impacts of dowry practices and substance abuse, especially among youth.
Student volunteers interacted directly with villagers, distributed awareness material, and conveyed strong messages promoting social responsibility, legal awareness, and healthy living. The villagers responded positively to the initiative, making the program a meaningful step toward encouraging social reform and drug-free communities.
विलेज एडॉप्शन प्रोग्राम (VAP) के अंतर्गत 07 मार्च 2025 को ग्राम फरीदपुर एवं दल्लूखेड़ा में दहेज उन्मूलन एवं नशा मुक्ति जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। इस गतिविधि का उद्देश्य ग्रामीणों को दहेज प्रथा एवं नशीले पदार्थों से होने वाले सामाजिक, आर्थिक एवं स्वास्थ्य संबंधी दुष्परिणामों के प्रति विशेष रूप से युवाओं में जागरूकता बढ़ाना था।
छात्र स्वयंसेवकों ने ग्रामीणों से संवाद कर जागरूकता सामग्री वितरित की तथा सामाजिक सुधार, कानूनी जानकारी और स्वस्थ जीवनशैली अपनाने का संदेश दिया। ग्रामीणों की सकारात्मक सहभागिता ने इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाया।
