BRIEF ABOUT THE ACTIVITY
On 07 April 2025, under the Village Adoption Program (VAP), students of Lucknow Public College of Professional Studies organized a Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program at Dallookhera village. The activity was conducted with the participation of one faculty member and six student volunteers. The program aimed to create awareness among women regarding menstrual health, hygiene practices, and the importance of using sanitary products.
During the activity, student volunteers interacted with women residents and distributed sanitary pads while addressing common myths related to menstruation. The students explained proper hygiene practices and emphasized the role of cleanliness in maintaining women’s health. The villagers, especially women, actively participated and appreciated the initiative, making the program effective in promoting health awareness and dignity among rural women.
विलेज एडॉप्शन प्रोग्राम (VAP) के अंतर्गत 07 अप्रैल 2025 को ग्राम दल्लूखेड़ा में मासिक धर्म स्वच्छता जागरूकता कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। इस गतिविधि में एक शिक्षक सदस्य एवं छह छात्र स्वयंसेवकों ने भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य महिलाओं को मासिक धर्म से जुड़ी स्वच्छता, स्वास्थ्य एवं सैनिटरी उत्पादों के उपयोग के प्रति जागरूक करना था। इस दौरान छात्र स्वयंसेवकों ने महिलाओं से संवाद कर उन्हें सैनिटरी पैड वितरित किए तथा मासिक धर्म से जुड़ी भ्रांतियों को दूर करने का प्रयास किया। स्वच्छता के महत्व और महिला स्वास्थ्य पर इसके प्रभाव की जानकारी दी गई। महिलाओं की सक्रिय सहभागिता और सकारात्मक प्रतिक्रिया ने इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाया तथा ग्रामीण महिलाओं में आत्मविश्वास और स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता को बढ़ावा दिया।
